Sea Moss Gel Instructions:
In a bowl rinse and clean raw sea moss with spring or alkaline water, let raw moss soak for 20 minutes. Discard original water. Add new water to the bowl completely covering sea moss. Your raw sea moss will expand 3-4 times in size. Allow raw sea moss to soak for 12-24 hours. Check sea moss during soaking hours and add additional water if needed. Once sea moss is done soaking, rinse rehydrated sea moss again in clean water. Add sea moss to the blender with 1 cup of clean water. Blend 1-2 minutes. Add additional water during the blending process until the final product is a smooth consistency. Transfer sea moss gel to a clean jar or container and refrigerate. Sea moss gel will solidify as it cools.
Sea Moss Gel is good for 4-5 weeks in the refrigerator and can be kept frozen for up to 6 months. Note: Use alkaline or spring water for every step of the process, including rinses. Please do not use tap water!
