What is Sea Moss?

Sea Moss, also known as Irish Moss, Golden Sea Moss, Chondrus Crispus or Carrageen Moss is the worlds most complete and perfect SUPERFOOD! Sea moss is a sea vegetable from the red algae family that naturally grows in the Caribbean Sea, North Atlantic Ocean and the Atlantic Coast of Europe. It is power packed with minerals and nutrients and is the only superfood that organically contains 92 of the 102 essential minerals our bodies need to operate and thrive.

What is Sea Moss Gel?

Sea Moss Gel is the final product of two ingredients, rehydrated raw sea moss and alkaline water. Sea moss is grown and hand harvested from the pristine waters of St. Lucia and dried naturally under the island sun. The raw, dried sea moss is then directly shipped to us at 92 Minerals Co. where we throughly and mindfully clean the raw moss with alkaline water. Sea moss is then rehydrated by being soaked for several hours in alkaline water before it is processed into sea moss gel. Before the rehydrated sea moss can be processed it is throughly rinsed again and inspected for any imperfections. Next, we blend the raw sea moss with clean alkaline water until a gel like consistency is achieved. The gel is directly poured into mason jars and refrigerated for several hours before it is ready to be shipped. That’s it! Two ingredients. Clean, simple, pure St Lucia sea moss gel.
